OUR PUBLISHING APPROACH
Useful, clear,
and easy to check.
The method behind the guides, diagrams, and free tools.
Sources and examples
Guides link to relevant primary sources and distinguish illustrative examples from observations made while building this website. Product summaries are based on published documentation unless a specific test is described. Check current provider terms before making a purchase or configuration change.
How resources are prepared
AI tools assist with drafting, editing, and code. Worked examples state their assumptions, and project observations describe the workflow tested.
Original diagrams are created for the guides to explain a decision, process, or calculation. Illustrative dollar amounts are not provider quotes or actual earnings. Each diagram has a caption, a text explanation, and a full-size view.
Tools and updates
Tool checks cover calculations, input validation, exports, and interface behavior. Each tool explains its purpose and limits. Substantive changes are recorded in the revision notes, with original publication dates kept separate from update dates.
Recommendations and corrections
Commercial relationships are described in our advertising and affiliate disclosure. To report a correction, email [email protected] with the page URL, the statement in question, and supporting information. Please leave out passwords and private customer details.
