Dated changes to the publication, not a claim of a long operating history.
October 5, 2026: tools and consolidation
Added three browser-based tools with downloadable output: a website budget planner, a metadata workbench, and a launch evidence worksheet. Consolidated 34 overlapping introductions into 14 focused guides and preserved the older addresses with redirects. Paused advertising requests, retained verification, and added explicit AI-assistance and evidence disclosures.
Each retained guide now has a specific revision note. These notes describe work done in this release; they do not imply independent human expert review or prove sustained audience interest.
- Your first website, minus the overwhelm: Added a worked service-site brief, a validation task, and a scope decision table.
- What a small website actually costs: Added an itemized first-year/renewal example and a working budget planner with CSV export.
- Connect a custom domain without breaking your email: Added the actual project connection sequence, DNS troubleshooting boundaries, and an HTTP verification example.
- Static website or CMS: choose the maintenance you want: Added a publishing-workflow comparison and a bounded first-party implementation note.
- An accessibility first pass for a small website: Added a concrete keyboard test, mobile edge cases, and a first-party focus bug example.
- Make a small website faster before buying another tool: Added a concrete measurement worksheet, image sizing example, and implementation-specific request inventory.
- Write a tutorial a beginner can actually finish: Added a before/after publishing instruction, source-evidence worksheet, and revision workflow.
- Write a useful comparison instead of declaring a universal winner: Consolidated recommendation and affiliate comparison advice around a usable evidence matrix.
- Build internal links that create a sensible reading path: Added a concrete four-page reading path and local metadata tool.
- Create a sitemap that describes the site you actually published: Added an inspectable XML example, public project sitemap, and Search Console diagnostic sequence.
- Test a contact form beyond the success message: Added a test matrix and accurate boundaries for this site's mailto support route.
- Run a monthly website review that catches the important things: Consolidated backup, link-checking, and measurement advice into a concrete maintenance routine.
- Ads, affiliates, or your own product?: Added exact break-even examples and an offer-responsibility worksheet; consolidated overlapping income introductions.
- A sensible checklist before applying to AdSense: Added a candid account of this site's low-value rejection and evidence-based review preparation.
October 4, 2026: initial publication
Built and deployed the initial static site, article finder, revenue illustration, and contact/privacy surfaces. The first collection contained general introductory material; the current structure is a deliberate revision of that approach.
A correction worth recording
An article count and word-count checks were previously used as development targets. They did not establish unique value. The current checks verify concrete output and structure rather than claiming to score content quality or guarantee advertising approval.
