Small site.
Clearer budget.
Separate first-year cash spending from the cost of keeping the site running. All example amounts are invented USD assumptions, not provider prices.

A traffic scenario, not a forecast
Monthly pageviews to cover recurring costs at your assumed RPM: 1,967.
To recover first-year costs over twelve months: 2,400 per month.
Check the method
First year = first-year domain + one-time setup + 12 × monthly services. Renewal year = renewal domain + 12 × monthly services. Monetary inputs are converted to integer cents before addition. The monthly reserve is rounded to cents; it is not a promise of monthly billing.
Required average monthly pageviews = round up(annual cost ÷ 12 ÷ page RPM × 1,000). Positive costs cannot be covered at zero RPM. Zero modeled costs require zero revenue, but that does not mean your time is free.
Reproduce the example
$18 domain + $30 setup + 12 × ($5 hosting + $3 email) = $144 in year one. A $22 renewal domain makes the next year $118. At an assumed $5 page RPM, the recurring-cost scenario needs 1,967 monthly pageviews. Those visits and earnings are not guaranteed.
Before making a purchase
Check the provider’s actual billing period, renewal price, taxes, currency, overage limits, and cancellation terms. This model excludes labor, refunds, fees not entered above, price changes, and differences in billing dates. It does not connect to vendors or fetch current prices.
